Who we work with
Who we make 3D renders for
Render Works makes photorealistic 3D renders, cinematic video and websites for five groups in New Zealand and Australia: property developers, architects, builders, real estate agents, and landowners building a home or a small development. Each page below covers what that group uses renders for, what to send us, and the projects we have produced for people in the same position.
What does each group need from a render studio?
Every group starts from the same thing, a building that does not exist yet, but each one needs the images for a different decision. A developer needs buyers to commit. An architect needs a client or a council to understand the design. An agent needs a listing that holds its own against finished homes.
| If you are | You usually need | Start here |
|---|---|---|
| A property developer | A full exterior and interior set, video and campaign assets for presales | Renders for property developers |
| An architect or designer | Presentation and consent renders built from your model | 3D renders for architects |
| A builder or group home company | Spec-matched renders for homes you are selling, and a website for finished work | Renders and websites for builders |
| A real estate agent | Listing images, social video and print assets for an off-plan campaign | Renders for real estate agents |
| A landowner or private client | A small set showing your home on its site with your finishes | Renders for landowners and private clients |
How much new housing is being designed and sold off the plans?
A lot. Stats NZ counted 40,581 new homes consented in the year ended June 2026, up 19 percent on the year before (Stats NZ, 2026). Many of those homes are presented to clients, councils and buyers before they exist, and a render is often the only picture of the finished building that everyone involved can look at.
