Render Works started in 2025 in Auckland. We make 3D renders and walkthrough videos that help developers sell off-plan homes before a single wall goes up. Most render jobs take 5 to 10 business days; videos take 3 to 5. Since then we have opened a studio in Sydney, and we now work on developments across New Zealand and Australia.
We started Render Works after watching good developments get marketed badly. A site would have a smart design and a strong location, but the only thing a buyer could look at was a floor plan and a couple of flat elevations. That is a hard way to sell something that does not exist yet.
So we built the studio around one idea: show people the finished place before it is built. Photorealistic renders for the listing and the brochure, and a short cinematic walkthrough for the part of the decision a still image cannot reach. When a buyer can picture themselves standing in the kitchen, the rest gets easier.
That is the work we have spent the past year doing. At Kōroto on Lake Hāwea we produced the aerial and home renders, a walkthrough film, and the website for a lakeside development in Otago. For RAM Projects' Rocks on Holloway in Cromwell we delivered eight renders, a cinematic video, and the branding that went with the launch. And for Pragma Homes we built the full toolkit for The Horsham Residences in Hamilton: renders, a brand identity, and a 111-home website now live at horshamresidences.co.nz.
The work travelled further than we expected. Developers in Australia started asking for the same package, so we opened in Sydney. The studio is still run out of Auckland, but a render that helps sell a townhouse in Queenstown does the same job for an apartment in Sydney, so we go where the projects are.

Plenty of studios will hand you a folder of stills. Fewer will give you the whole campaign. We make the renders, cut the walkthrough video, design the brand, and build the website, so the development looks like one thing wherever a buyer runs into it. It also means one team to talk to instead of four.
Good visualisation work is mostly discipline. The light has to behave like real light. The materials have to match what the builder will actually use. And the deadline has to hold, because your launch date does not move just because ours slipped.
You deal with the people doing the work, not an account manager passing notes along. That is true whether the project is one home or a hundred.
