Middleton Road

Frankton, Queenstown, New Zealand

Developed for: James Clarke Property

Renders and Videos by: Render Works

About this project

Middleton is a collection of nine two- and three-bedroom homes set across two terraces on the hillside between Frankton and Queenstown. Each home runs over three levels and looks across Lake Whakatipu to The Remarkables, so the view is the thing buyers are paying for. We produced eleven photorealistic renders: four exteriors, three of them aerial, and seven interiors across the two home types.

The aerials place the terraces on the slope with the marina, the lake and the ranges behind, and the street view shows the dark cladding and the Kwila decks with their clear glass balustrades. Inside, every lounge, kitchen and bedroom is framed on a window, in a light neutral palette. Alongside the stills we produced a cinematic video, and the full set was delivered in August 2026.

Frequently asked questions

Where is the Middleton development?

Middleton sits on the hillside between Frankton and Queenstown, above Lake Whakatipu. Its nine homes are arranged across two terraces facing the lake and The Remarkables.

What did Render Works produce for Middleton?

Eleven photorealistic renders, four exteriors including three aerial views and seven interiors across both home types, plus a cinematic video showcase of the development.

Why use aerial renders for a hillside development?

From the road you cannot see how the homes sit on the slope or what they look out to. The aerial renders show both terraces against the marina, the lake and the ranges, which is the setting buyers are choosing.

Do the interior renders show both home types?

Yes. The seven interiors cover the lounges, kitchens and bedrooms of Type A and Type B homes, each composed around the window so the lake and mountain outlook is part of every room.
