Bridge Hill, Alexandra, New Zealand

About this project
Lanes Road is a single architecturally designed home on a steep, rocky hillside section of 6,244 m² at Bridge Hill, above Alexandra in Central Otago. The house covers about 233 m² of the site and is anchored into the rock. A charcoal-stained timber rainscreen wraps it so the roof reads as flat, and dark panels above and below the front windows make the glass look like it runs the full height of the wall.
We produced four photorealistic renders from the owner's brief and model: a dusk aerial of the home on its outcrop, a sunset view of the deck over the slope, the kitchen looking out to the valley, and the lounge looking back to the rock face behind the house. Close-up detail renders were supplied as well, and the set was delivered in August 2026.
